This is the North American Traveling Art Journal. I got it a couple of weeks back and just had time to work on it this week. It’s going from Art Journaler to Art Journaler getting two or three pages and then moving on. I’m not sure what’s happening to it when it’s finished. I’m anxious to see though.

I gave my friend, Renée, a My Little Pony for Christmas. She left the box at my house so OF COURSE I made a journal out of it. She was almost as excited about the journal as she was about the Pony.

I’ve been reading Show Your Work by Austin Kleon and there was this amazing Cyndi Lauper Quote in it:
I ain’t going to give up. Every time you think I’m one place, I’m going to show up someplace else. I come prehated. Take your best shot.
And it’s just so, so, so right. It’s what every women deals with at some point in her life. If felt like the perfect cap to this journal. It’s the last page in my Season of Music journal for Get Messy.
