I’m loving this size journal to work in. This is another page in my Season of Music journal for Get Messy.

Oooh, I’m so in love with this page right now. Also I love this song. It’s a new song and a newish band for me: Massive Attack, but only if you discount the song used for the tv show House. That one I’ve heard approximately 98,000 times. I love the night and day theme on this page and the photos on the page already had a night and day feel to them. The one on the left looked like that time of night you are sitting and waiting on a phone call and watching the phone.  (What? I grew up in the 80s. That was a thing we did back then with our giant cordless landlines.) The right page had Michael Stipe sitting by two cardboard elephants guarding a window. So there’s that and then in the middle, I flipped the sun and the moon. It’s very yin and yang. I lurv it so much right now. Here’s a couple of other shots.

“Love is the Seventh Wave” is one of my favorite songs of all time. There’s just nothing better than this peppy, infectious pop song.

I can’t stand how good it is that the zig zaggy top line fits perfectly on this open spread. Also, I crack myself up with the red lower case “i” to the left of the title. This is the song I sing in my head when my ego gets a little too big.

My most excellent internet friend, Katie, over at Punk Projects made a coolio galaxy tutorial on the Get Messy Blog and Liza and I had a bunch of fun playing around with it today.
