In October and December 2015, I had carpel tunnel release surgery on each of my hands. In the process of healing, I was reminded of the miracle that our bodies are. And how thankful I am to live in a place that surgery is available to me.
The man on the left is a piece of found paper and there are other found paper and sewing pattern pieces in the background. The stenciled 139:14 in the lower right corner is a reference to Psalm 139:14: “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”
