This was such a fun piece to work on! The client bought a round wrought iron wall hanging and I took crayon rubbings of the central motif to incorporate in this piece. As I was beginning the collage part, I realized how much the scattered round shapes reminded me of the Glasshouse at the Chihuly Glass Museum.
I wanted this to have a dreamy, English garden feel and I’m so pleased with how it turned out. The client was dazzled too!
