“Vortex Dreams”

This was a commission piece for a friend who loves the tv show Doctor Who. So while it is Doctor Who inspired, it isn’t literal.
This was the first layer I put down so there would be some teal undertones.
I used Golden High Flow Acrylics for this drip layer.
Several more drip layers and some paper with metallic rose gold hexes. This was to suggest the TARDIS control room.
More wet drips. There was a lot of drying time for this piece.
A couple of additional paper layers and a yellow sun burst.
And then finally the rose gold metallic foil accents for the end.
