Here’s a couple of music playlists to dance around the studio to. Peppy and irreverent seems to be my jam. Don’t @ me.

Playlists you can work to
When I was a teenager I made mix tapes all the time. Punching the tape deck buttons juuuuust right are some hardwired memories for me. These days of course, it’s just dropping songs on a Spotify playlist but there’s still something magical about having an arranged list of songs. I’m sharing a couple of music playlists that I make art to.
Here’s an older playlist of mine that are made up of songs that I love:
Here’s a newer playlist that is probably made up of a bunch of old songs but I can’t tell how old anything is anymore with Spotify. Wheeee!
I need peppy music to work but not too frenetic. I like pop and what was called alternative back in the day. And I feel like what I like hasn’t changed very much even as I’ve added new people and bands to what I listen to. The sounds and themes have stayed pretty consistent.
We got a record player for Christmas and my mom bought us a record stand for it to live on. My partner posted this pic on social media and someone called us pretentious.
And I was like, “Sir, this is a Wendy’s and my musical tastes can be summed up as pedestrian at best.” And also? Beyond that, just let people like what they like. If your tastes and interests overlap, then enjoy that and welcome new friend. Otherwise, move on with your life.
Anyway, I hope you like these playlists. 🤣
