A couple of postcards for the postcard swap. I keep making them because I keep using the ones I’ve made or setting them aside for certain people. It’s hard to have 10 ready when I keep taking them out two and three at a time! I’ve always had trouble incorporating stamps into my work before but these somehow they just work on these two.

Prepping these canvases with the pattern layer and then a transparent gesso layer took ALL DAY because of the humidity and rain. But they are ready to go when I figure out what the next step is!

Some days you just have to schedule a crochet-along with your crochet pals. The Js and I went all in on crafting our kids some Dumpling Kitties. Yes, that is a jar of beans and a bunch of oranges on the table. Makers gonna make.

Working on some Get Messy Art Journal pages. Love how this book is shaping up to look pulled together with the supplies I’m using. I also used the packing tape image transfer method on those pictures for the middle page. So fun.

My mom is moving to our town this summer and we’ve started the process of trying to find her a house. I made this little book so we could keep notes and I wouldn’t lose phone numbers.

Getting close to the end of this shawl. I only have 5-6 rows left! Can’t wait! This weekend: ALL THE CRAZY! My mom’s house hunt has swung into gear and we’ve looked at three houses, done drive by looks at a handful of others, and gotten tons of details worked out while she’s been here this weekend. But it’s not left me much time to work on Make Something Every Day.

Last color! Attached this plum color today and only have three more rows to go! Can’t wait to get this shawl blocked so the pattern is more visible. Right now it’s all scrunchy and I’m hoping that blocking will give it a more airy feeling.
