“Grayton” 18×24″ (found paper, acrylic paint, oil pastels, & pencil)

Unframed work on paper.

I have always loved the ocean. It is vast and impossible as I stand on the edge and look toward the distant horizon. While the Florida panhandle might not be the most exotic of vacation spots, it has been my family’s favorite beach destination for more than twenty years. The looming probability of those beaches being lost in my lifetime to rising sea levels caused by global warming both horrifies and saddens me.
